The month of March quickly begins with a Full Moon in the analytical sign of Virgo.  Here in the northern hemisphere, we are at the tail end of winter and soon it will be time to emerge from the great womb of rest into the vibrant activity of spring.  But not yet.  First we must embrace the powerful opportunity that comes with this, the last Full Moon of winter, called in Native American traditions: the Worm Moon.  Remember that the Full Moon is the culmination of what was started six months ago at the New Moon.  The New Moon is the time when we set a vision and the Full Moon is the time that when we confront any Shadows around that vision.  So one of the best ways to use this and any Full Moon is to look back six months and explore where you were energetically.  If you you've been following my rituals, you should have some excellent notes taken in your journal exploring your feelings, what was bugging you, and most importantly, what you were desiring back at the end of summer.  Six months ago was the New Moon in Virgo and here we are at the Full Moon in Virgo, which means what you started back then is just about ready to be birthed, BUT you first must do the work with the Full Moon to confront and heal any Shadows that need correcting before you can birth your desire.  Does that make sense, Friend?  The idea is that at the New Moon, we visualize and plan, and we really think about what we desire to manifest in the material world.  The work and rituals we do help us get deeply into manifestation mode by aligning our energy with what we desire.  We imagine the New Moon as a blank canvas on which we can cast our dreams and paint our hopes.  I liken it to the conception of a baby.  The New Moon is the time when the Universe is sparky for co-creation and our subconscious mind is receptive to inspiration from the Heart. The six months following the New Moon are the gestation period for your ideas.  During that time, you and your Spirit Guides are working together making plans for your vision, helping you recognize opportunities so you can take inspired action, getting you clearer and clearer about what you want-- and the Universe is behind the scenes organizing outside events and chance happenings, bringing people together, setting up multiple events and basically unfolding your dream vision in ways you could never (in your egoic mind) imagine.

When the Full Moon rolls around six months later, it is the time when the Universe is calling you back to those dreams to help you get really clear about them and to help you confront any subconscious and sabotaging beliefs that might be holding you back from manifesting the thing you desire.  For example, at the New Moon in Virgo last year, I was really focused on bringing out my own personal sensuality, my confidence, and my Divine Feminine power around my sexuality.  I see the sign of Virgo as being very confident in their physical bodies and I took the opportunity of the New Moon in Virgo to really lay claim to that energy and take it on as my own.  So this Full Moon in Virgo is going to help me confront any fears and negative beliefs and even will help me become aware of any subconscious behaviors that are holding me back from manifesting my own sexy, powerful self. And sure enough, I am feeling this tremendous pull to become more authentically sexy.  I'm being pulled to let myself show.  I've been losing weight, coming out of extensions, and showing a bit more skin.  I'm not forcing it.  It's natural.  The Universe is luring me toward my desire and I am following the hints.  You can bet there will be some serious emotional challenges this Full Moon as I confront my deepest, darkest issues around self-image and what it means to be lovable, but I am ready.

The Full Moon is the time when our subconscious mind comes forth into our consciousness so that we can heal what is misguided or off-track with the vision we claimed at the New Moon.   Now, I want to take this opportunity to encourage you to follow the monthly rituals and do the work in your journal so that you have a written record of your development.  The Moon is your very precious, personal Spirit Guide, and she is so happy to help you thrive.  But you have to do the work and meet her halfway, Friend.  Follow the ritual, do your Shadow Work, write in your journal, and do some form of meditation every day so that you can be in touch with your Higher Self and have a powerful connection to your Intuition, which is a powerful resource for living a joyful and prosperous life.  The Full Moon is the perfect time to do Shadow Work so that you heal old wounds.  It's the perfect time to look your fear square in the face so that you can do the deep root work to free yourself from it for good.  My Emotional Wellness Happy Hour Coaching and Healing Circle is a great way to get help with this.  One of my God/Goddess given gifts is the ability to dive deep to the root cause of a problem and help folks find practical soul-utions to solving it.  In session, I connect with your Higher Self and your Spirit Guides to give you personal guidance that will help you have powerful awakenings and breakthroughs.  These group sessions are small, and the people that are coming together on them are all a vibrational match in some significant way.  It's fucking awesome!  Synchronicities abound!!  The sessions are just $25 to join but the benefits are priceless.  Sign up and join me.  The next session is scheduled for 3:30am on Wednesday, February 27th.  I'm in Central Europe and it starts really EARLY, but if you're in the Americas, it's after work.  My apologies to my friends who share my time zone.  As more interest in this gets expressed, I'll add another day to accommodate you here.  If you're close to my the GMT or UTC time zones and are interested, please email me and I'll certainly add times to suit you.

Right.  So now we have the Full Moon in Virgo and the dream you laid claim to six months ago is ready to be challenged.  When you set forth that dream, you were shaping the Universe.  You may or may not have been aware of some Shadow energy that was lurking around you.  Shadow energy is a collection of limiting beliefs, negative thoughts, and sabotaging behaviors that are a contrast to your true Divine Light.  Fear and doubt are the primary Shadow energies that plague us in the Cycle of Manifestation.  But Shadow can also be anything like anxiety, depression, a feeling of powerlessness, resentment, jealousy, anger (OH ANGER IS A BIG ONE, as you can see in my video Exploring Anger in Oradea, Romania.  Anger expressed is a tool, but anger SUPPRESSED is a destroyer of magnificence) and any other negative emotion you feel.  The Full Moon in any sign is the time when we are called inward to deal with our negative emotions.  We can deal with them by sweeping them under the rug, shutting down, ignoring them, suppressing them or denying them (which I totally do NOT recommend) or we can deal with them in a positive, life-affirming way, which is the way of the Badass.

You need to be an Badass Emotions Whisperer right now, Friend, because the Sun is in Pisces and the Moon will be in Virgo.  The sign of Pisces rules the 12th House, which is the house of our inner world, our subconscious mind, dreams, and our natural inclination toward the mystical.  From this house comes our love of fantasy, our tendency toward creativity, and our ability to have profound spiritual experiences.  The Sun has been in Pisces since February 18th and it will stay there until March 20th.  This entire time period is about opening ourselves to greater love and connectedness.  The Sun in Pisces is shining light on our Divinity, helping us access activate our left brain, our intuition, and accentuating our feminine nature.  Over the next few weeks, you might notice that you are having more vivid dreams and access to knowledge from other worlds.  The separation from other dimensions is more transparent and it's going to be easier to receive through our feeling nature.  This is an awesome time to work with your intuition and spiritual guidance.

How to benefit from the Full Moon in Virgo

Virgo governs the sixth house of health and daily activities.  The sign of Virgo is a great teacher.  It is ruled by Mercury and it has a great mind that is fast, sharp and analytical.  But the sign of Virgo is not icy like the Air signs of Aquarius, Libra and Gemini. Virgo is an Earth sign and it has terrific warmth and sensuality.  As brainy as Virgo is, their depth of emotion can be quite profound. This means that this is an excellent time to use your mind as your tool for exploring the dark Shadows that the Full Moon is illuminating.  The Full Moon rising in Virgo means that you are being forced to explore what is not working around any of these Virgo traits and any areas governed by Virgo.

Health Issues:  Health issues, sickness and disease may be getting your attention right now.  The feeling of fatigue that comes from hidden illnesses might be getting your attention.  Be aware of viral and bacterial infections that may be communicating to you through increased body temperature, a change in your physical vision, allergies, flus and colds.  Please keep in mind that in my spiritual philosophy, every symptom is a Spirit Guide communicating something important to you.  For example, a chest infection is communicating to you about sadness, grief, and unexpressed remorse.  Stomach upset is communicating to you about issues around your will, your self-expression, and your ability to create the life you desire.  Headache can be communicating to you about your need to break free of limiting beliefs.  Watch yourself carefully over the next couple of weeks, Friend.  Don't just suppress your symptoms without making deep inquiries into them spiritually.  I talk to every symptom with respect.  I was sick for three weeks with a phlegmy chest and I unpeeled layer after layer of suppressed anger and outrage.  I didn't know that I had it!  I thought I was cool, but I found out that I was pissed.  My Angel and Elemental friends helped me get very clear and helped me heal a whole bunch of crap I didn't need.  I feel like a new woman because I've been freed from yet another prison.

Daily Routine:  The Full Moon in Virgo makes this the perfect time to deal with the subconscious processes that are keeping you locked into limiting situations with regard to your daily work, your job, your routine, and your daily practice.  Virgo is very organized and it has an EXCELLENT discipline that is natural to it.  If you have some stuff to be healed in this area, the Full Moon is surely going to give you some kind of challenge to let you know something's wrong and it will surely give you a solution to correct it.  Here's a disclaimer:  You are NOT broken.  You do not need to be fixed.  You are fine, Darling.  IF (and only if) you perceive you want growth and expansion, then you can use all this as opportunity.  You are perfect and lovable exactly as you are.  I love you for reals because we are One. ♥

How You Serve:  The sign of Virgo is also about service, so the Full Moon in Virgo may also call your attention to how you are showing up at work.  Don't be alarmed if you run into work issues like a client getting mad at you.  The only reason it's happening is because your Soul needs you to grow and learn something.  Remember that your emotions are leading you to heal trauma.  Follow them, but don't be sucked down by them.  Don't be afraid of your emotions.  Virgo is a super analytical sign, so you'll need to be careful that you don't analyze your emotions instead of experiencing them.  Analyzing your emotions is not the way to blow off the steam of them.  Emotions are drives that need to express themselves fully.  So use your mind to guide, but stay grounded in your body so you can be present with the full experience of the emotional release.  Remember that Emotional Wellness Happy Hour is a chance to work with me on this personally.

Authority and Time:  Look, time management is not governed by Virgo.  Time is mostly governed by Aquarius and Capricorn under Saturn's rule, however, how you spend your time on a daily basis is significantly important during this Full Moon in Virgo transit. Virgo is a master organizer. You can expect some events that will have you reconsidering how you are spending your time coming up for you over the next few weeks.  Being an Authority in your life means that you have autonomy of your time.  You are the one who calls the shots.  If you find that you are a victim of circumstances and don't feel free to use your time as you please, then the Full Moon in Virgo is going challenge you to find your sense of authority around this.  Annie Dillard says that how you spend your day is how you spend your life.  If you are not in control of your day then you are not in a position of Authenticity.  Without Authenticity, it is VERY difficult to be motivated.  You're trapped.  Every day, even when we are an employee, is an opportunity to co-create.  Your boss may be above you in rank, but Inner Authority overrides all.  Your greatest power is to realize that you are co-creating, so you have to ALWAYS show up in excellence.  If you think that just because you have a low paying job you that you can slouch and be half-assed, then you are kidding yourself thinking that a better paying job is going to make you stand up straighter and bring your A-game. Mercury, Virgo's ruler, is no slouch.  He's a dignified planet and so this Moon phase is going to challenge you to dig deep and find your A-game in every moment.  This is a good time to challenge yourself to start living an intentional life.  Actually, a life of volition is even better.  Volition is intention on B-vitamins and iron:  powerful!   You are meant to be a Badass, Friend, not a victim.  This Moon wants to make sure the truth comes through, so don't resist the opportunities that are being presented.  If you're having trouble managing your time, then you might find some inspiration from Jocelyn K. Glei's interview with Julie Zhuo on the podcast Hurry Up Slowly.  Julie Zhuo has some demonstrates how to maximize your time and focus so that you can have a powerful career and still devote time to your children and relationships.

Okay, Lovely.  This is PLENTY of information for you to consider for this Moon phase.  Feel free to share your own experiences in the Comments section below, or join me in my  Emotional Wellness & Spiritual Empowerment Facebook group where you're always invited to share your experiences during the Moon phases.  Also, remember to sign-up for the 10 day Monthly Full Moon Ritual to balance your Shadow and connect with your Light.

When the Moon is new, it occupies the same sign as the Sun.  The Sun went into the mystical sign of Pisces on February 18th and it will stay there until March 20th.  The Moon will enter Pisces on March 17th and will stay there for just about two and a half days, as she does for every sign.  Although the Moon's stay in a sign is quick, the energy of the New and Full Moon stay with us for longer.  We can effectively use the energy of both starting three days before the Moon moves into the sign and continue to use it for up to 10 days after.  The dates I indicate for using the rituals reflect the most potent time period.

I don't know about you, Friend, but I love the energy of Pisces.  I ADORE Pisces people.  The men and women are SO sensitive, sensual and smart.  AMAZING!  And Pisceans make the BEST healers.  I love it when they work on me.  I go to other dimensions.  I'm an Aquarius and Aquarians are also excellent healers.  My clients love my work.  But my energy is not nearly as sweet as Piscean energy. Hahahahaha!  I'm much more of a let's get down to business and kick some ass type of healer.  I'm like a Badass Buckaroo.  A Mystical Cowboy.  Pisces is a softer, more Badass Angel type of healer.  They're very feminine and allowing.

While the Sun is in Pisces, you may find that your energy is more tender, your intuition more active, and that you are more emotionally available. This is one of the best times to do deep healing and to work with your dreams.  The New Moon in Pisces is going to provide you with terrific openness and the ability to make powerful changes in your life.

How to benefit from the New Moon in Pisces

Pisces governs the 12th house of the zodiac, known as the house of the Unconscious.  In spiritual philosophy, the element of water is associated with emotions, feelings, and spirituality.  Pisces is a water sign and the 12th house reflects this to us.  Here is where we can explore our mystical nature and our way of connecting to the other world that exists beyond the veil.  Ancient mystics found Pisces to be ruled by Jupiter, but now, it is attributed to the mighty Neptune, ruler of the seas.

Healing:  The question I must answer is how can we benefit most from the opportunity presented with the New Moon in Pisces.  Definitely we can benefit by doing any work associated with the unconscious mind and our subconscious processes.  This is POWERFUL healing.  Delving deep into your subconscious mind can help you cure emotional imbalance, mental blockages, physical blockages, and even disease.  Even though I don't usually emphasize Shadow Work during the New Moon phase, I want to encourage you to do it often during this New Moon and honestly, during the whole period of Sun in Pisces.  Personally, I've already had two major emotional breakthroughs that have freed me from lifelong imprisonment.  It's only February 22nd (when I'm tuning in and writing this report!)  Hahahaha!  Seriously.  The energy is RIPE for letting go of deeply buried crap that has been holding you back from your thrive.  So definitely, friend, give yourself time every day to talk to your Higher Self, tune into your Inner Presence, talk to your Spirit Guides and ask for guidance to healing deeply hidden trauma.  Your unconscious mind is a playground for sabotaging beliefs and processes that can stop you from being Badass and living the life of your dreams.  If you are experiencing failure in life on any level, there's a good chance that you have an subconscious process that is the culprit.  In my Emotional Wellness & Spiritual Empowerment Facebook group, I have shared a couple of videos from my teacher, Teal Swan, that teach you how to do Shadow Work and how to change limiting beliefs.  I always recommend these videos to my clients and I teach them how to go through the processes, since most people seem to get stuck in doing it on their own.  I've been blessed to work with Teal directly and have gained tremendous depth of understanding from the work.  I'll tell you, Friend, working with a coach or teacher is invaluable.  It's great that we have Inner Guides to help us, but our growth becomes exponential when we engage a professional.  Emotional Wellness Happy Hour is a wonderful chance to work with me in a group setting for a low price.  I love these sessions because of the heartfelt connection we develop and the DEEP healing that comes forth.  Our ability to transform is amplified when we come together for healing and it is beautiful.  I hope you'll join me and bring your own team of healing Spirits to the mix.

Success and Failure:  Old school astrologers call the 12th house of Pisces, the house of Sorrow, Isolation and Self-Undoing.  I'm not going to emphasize this because it could scare the crap out of you and cause you to withdraw.  I prefer to emphasize the Unconscious stuff.  You can see why the Sun and New Moon in Pisces is a good opportunity to explore the idea of success and failure.  The 12th house can be associated with great pain and suffering.  But honestly, Friend, fuck that.  We need to develop a new Badass attitude toward pain, suffering and failure.  We shouldn't cringe at the thought of these.  We need a new attitude about them that reflects our connection to the great All and the power of our Higher Self.  The more we identify with ego, the more we suffer.  Period.  Ego is limited and it wants control.  But it is disconnected from the big picture.  Identifying heavily with your ego will see your stumblings and your falls as failures.  Identication with your Higher Self sees them as building blocks.  Ego is afraid of rejection.  The Higher Self is fearless.  Ego is intimidated by what it perceives as bigger or better or more powerful than itself.  Higher Self knows that it is God/Goddess having an experience and celebrates its own innate power while experiencing difference with other beings.  With the New Moon in Pisces, we have a FANTASTIC opportunity to dive deep into our psyche to explore the wounding that keeps us thinking and behaving like broken, disempowered beings while we create new meanings for both failure and success.  When you realize that you are not broken, you realize that you cannot fail.  Failure becomes a building block for your Badass expansion.  Your new meaning of success becomes:  I Am.  Definitely do some work around this during this New Moon phase.  It can lead you to a new understanding of your self worth, your value, and your heart.  People ask me how to love themselves.  I think that the best way is by viewing your failings with compassion and redefining them through the prism of Unconditional Love.

Your Big, Badass Self (and cats):  As you know, if you've been following my blog, we are in a '2' year.  2018 (2+0+1+8 = 11 => 2.)  The number 2 is ruled by the Moon and it represents Badass Divine Feminine Authority.  This whole year is about raising your Higher Self-Esteem and becoming more Higher Self led, as opposed to ego led.  This year is going to teach us how to esteem our Higher Self over our ego.  So what does this mean?  Well, I drew a Tarot Card for this and I got the Queen of Wands.  The image depicts a beautiful, mature woman who sits on her throne with her legs spread apart.  She wears a red tunic trimmed in gold with two blue brooches holding her cape in place.  In her hand she holds a scepter with a green jewel at its base.  Here comes a Tarot lesson, folks...

The top of the Queen's throne is shaped like an arrow pointing skyward.  It reflects the nature of the suit of Wands, which is energy, fire, and burning Spirit.  The Queen is mature, meaning she has walked through life and has developed wisdom.  Her red tunic shows her open Root Chakra, her powerful sexuality, her creativity and her connection to the Earth.  The gold trim represents the Solar Plexus energy and thus her untiring and strong will.  The blue brooches indicate an open Throat Chakra that facilitates Authentic self expression.  Her scepter points upward, showing her connection to the upper Chakras, and at its base, the green gemstone represents a transparent heart that guides her endeavors.  Spirit is informing that I should also point out that this Queen's relationships are paramount to her wellbeing and the more connected she is to others, the more strong is her center.

Beneath the Queen's chair is a cat whose markings resemble that of a tiger.  This Queen has at her center, a magnificent beast that is powerful and strong, but it answers to her and her alone for she is master of her energy.

Our job during this New Moon in Pisces is to open the door for this great Queen to enter our lives.  She exists in us already, but it is up to us to clear away the dark Shadows that are blocking her emergence.  My suggestion for this Moon phase is to create some serious volition to learn about your inner Queen.  Explore who she is.  Learn what she feels like.  Talk to her.  And most importantly, invite her to exert influence in all the aspects of your life-- in your mind, in your body, in your relationships, in your tastebuds, in your sex life, in your vision, and surely through all your Chakras!  She is your ally and she wants to lead you home to your magnificence.  Get out of her way, Friend.  Do your Shadow Work.  Change your limiting beliefs.  Do your healing.  Take inspired action.  Take a risk on your dreams.

By the way, Badass Butterfly's Moonlight Tarot School starts Wednesday, April 4th (or Tuesday April 3rd depending on your time zone.  Check the start time for your area.)  This is my favorite class to teach because I'm so passionate about Tarot and the loving messages that come through with each reading.  We are not alone in this world, Friend.  We are surrounded by loving energies that want us to thrive.  Tarot is a way to connect and have clarity between you and your Spiritual Guides.  Please join me to learn in a safe, unconditionally loving environment.  OH!  And you can save $35 if you sign up before March 25th using coupon code TAROT21.

Desires, Goals and Dreams:  For every New Moon ritual, I have you write down your Heart's desires and get very clear about what you want.  I feel like the New Moon is a chance to define what we want to manifest for ourselves in this life by using the most accessible energies as our guide.  With the New Moon and Sun in Pisces, we can use the healing quality of Pisces and the 12th house to make our dreams come true.  Write out your heart's desires and any goals you want to achieve.   I suggest you devote a large chunk of your focus to the 12th house opportunities.  Make your goals about improving your connection to the Spirit world and confronting any deeply rooted fears you may have.  Focus on goals that perpetuate your Spiritual expansion and accelerate your deep healing.  Here are two of my 12th house goals for this New Moon so that you can have an example of what I mean.

  1. I desire to have a deeper connection to my Higher Self and a more profound relationship with God/Goddess/Source of All.  I desire to let this unconditionally loving energy flow through me at all times, influencing my thoughts, driving my actions, revitalizing my cells, and being the lens through which I view the world.
  2. I desire to lose weight, not be diet and exercise, but by opening myself to the Unconditional Love of God/Goddess/Source of All.  I desire to let the truth and power of Unconditional Love fill me up and nourish me, so that my eating habits reflect good health and balance and so that my exercise is inspired by the great energy that comes from having Unconditional Love all around me.

The first goal is purely 12th house.  The second goal is about the material world, but I'm approaching it using the values and qualities of the 12th house.  If you need help setting goals like this, then join me for Emotional Wellness Happy Hour on March 15th or 16th (depending on your time zone.)

Yaaaas!  This is PLENTY of information for you to consider for this Moon phase.  Feel free to share your own experiences in the Comments section below, or join me in my  Emotional Wellness & Spiritual Empowerment Facebook group where you're always invited to share your experiences during the Moon phases.  Also, remember to sign-up for the 10 day Monthly Full Moon Ritual to get help with anything that's coming up for you around this New Moon phase.

The Sun moved into Aries on March 20th this year, which means that the Zodiac has kind of reset itself.  Aries is the first sign of the Zodiac and Pisces is the last one.  In the northern hemisphere, it is the end of winter.  With the Sun in Pisces, we were clearing up the last remnants of the emotional debris that began in March a year ago.  All this recent Pisces/12th house processing we were doing was challenging yet powerful as we confronted the dark aspects of ourselves and had our feet held to the fire by Spirit.  The goal was to find strength and connection.  Every year, the end of February and the beginning of March are a time of major emotional growth as our subconscious mind gets stirred up by benevolent energies that want us to heal.  The thing is, these situations are good for us but sometimes feel AWFUL because they're forcing us to confront head-on the Shadows to which we've been mindlessly clinging.  Gosh!  You can really see why Pisces is the end of the Zodiac.  All this emotional processing is so draining!  There were days were I could barely get out of bed.  I was EXHAUSTED and good for nothing but feeling my feelings.  I felt blessed to have the qualities of winter to shelter me and protect me from too much compulsive activity.  The snow, the rain, and the gray skies all combined to make me choose stillness rather than action. Our Universe is SO clever, isn't it?  Putting the Sun in Pisces when it’s too cold to go outside and escape the feels. With the Sun in Pisces, we clean up all the darkness that has been accumulating over the last year and when the Sun transits to Aries, we can expect a renewed sense of energy, a powerful new outlook, and an opportunity to put on our big girl panties and head out to conquer the world.  Winter's sleep is over.  Spring has sprung!

A little info about the Sun… This is a Moon report, but I want to give you just a little bit of insight around the Sun's energy because its movements through the zodiac are affecting us strongly, as well.  The Sun will stay in Aries from March 20th through April 19th.  Aries rules the first house, which is the house of the human self.  It is your physical body and your personality.  Aries and the first house are ruled by the planet Mars.  He is considered to be a young hot-headed warrior who blazes into battle using his strong instincts.  He is sexy, commanding, and inclined to some dramatic displays of excellence.  The nature of Mars is to not necessarily think things through.  He doesn't like taking the time to deliberate on all the minutia and he’s not really interested in anyone else’s opinions.  He leaves all the fine details to Saturn.  This can sometimes get Aries people into trouble because by the time Saturn has sorted through all the fine details, Mars in onto the next thing, which means the ball can get dropped.

What we can expect, with the Sun in Aries, is much more heat coursing through our veins.  We are awakening with the spring, and we have newfound energy, focus and enthusiasm.  Our Badassery feels invigorated.  We feel sexier, hornier, and more ready to take risks.  We may have a need to be seen and heard.  We're like a flower that has been buried beneath the snow.  We are budding and blossoming.  OH!  By the way, Mars, Aries and the first house also rule the ego.  This does NOT mean that they are egocentric in a negative sense.  Please remember that your ego is not just a bad drive that limits you.  It is the container of your self-identity.  A healthy ego has a healthy sense of self.  This is what makes Aries Badass.  They know who they are.  This Sun transit through Aries is a GREAT opportunity to grab the ram by the horns and push into your Badassery in a healthy way-- really embracing who you are and building your self-confidence.  Don’t be afraid to explore who you are right now.

When the Sun is in Aries, the Moon rises full in Libra, the sign opposite to Aries.  That's how Moon phases work.  The Moon is fully illuminated by the Sun when it is directly opposite it (on the other side of the Earth,) and the sign opposite Aries is Libra.  Some folks think that opposite signs are opposite personalities, but I have found that the opposite signs tend to have the same aim but they go about achieving them in different ways.  This adds potency to every Full Moon phase because these polarities create tremendous sexual (creative) tension.  They also provide great contrast so that it becomes easy to see the writing on the wall.  The polarities of the masculine Sun and the feminine Moon are working together and inciting great change within us.

If you'll recall, each Moon phase builds upon the other.  When the Moon is New in a sign, it is an opportunity to envision new goals, dreams and desires around whatever that sign influences.  Six months later, the Moon becomes full in that same sign and we are given the opportunity to look at any Shadows around our goals, dreams and desires and their manifestation.

Six months ago, the Moon was new in Libra and I asked you to explore your Audacious Authority.  You can read that article if you want to revisit.  At that time, we took a very good look at ‘audacity.’  We had just awakened this Badass in ourselves and the Spirits were guiding us to expand our self-concept and take on a bigger understanding of our value and worth.  I had asked you to explore your relationship with audacity because we tend to use that term in a negative way.   For example, "She had the AUDACITY to run for president!"  We tend to keep ourselves small and in alignment with the status quo and six months ago, the Universe gave us a wake-up call saying, "Hey!  You're a Badass at Heart.  Why don't you act like it?  Why don't you show it?  What does it mean to be a Badass?  You can think bigger.  Go for it.  Be Audacious."  That New Moon in Libra in October of 2017 opened the doors for us to start shedding the small mind of the caterpillar and to embrace the new vision of the Badass Butterfly.  Lots of you, my beloved readers, took this to heart and you started sharing with me your Badass audacious goals, dreams and plans.  It has been awesome!  And I thank you for including me in your shares because you always affirmed what I, too, was experiencing.

How to benefit from the Full Moon in Libra

So now the Moon is full in Libra, and the great opportunity is to explore any negative feelings or emotions you have around your Badassery.  Small-minded thoughts, negative core beliefs, sabotaging behaviors will all be illuminated now by the silvery light of the Moon.  This is your time to go in and do some serious healing to unleash the next level of your Badass Butterfly Nature.

Libra is an Air sign, which means that it tends to be intellectual, thought oriented, cool, and even other worldly.  It is sandwiched between Gemini and Aquarius and it seems to provide a counter balance for its two sisters that are SO heady and potentially ungrounded.  Libra is ruled by Venus and it is diplomatic, graceful, and peaceful in its way of being.  Libra is occupied with fairness and equity and one of its central roles is to create a sense of peace and harmony.

The Power Dynamic of Relationships:  The work we MUST do when the Moon rises full in Libra is to explore what aspects of our minds are preoccupied with fairness and equity to the detriment of our own magnificence.  Our job with this Full Moon is to take inventory of our belief systems and eradicate the ones that are keeping us stuck because of fear of disturbing the waters of our relationships.  Libra rules partnership and relationships of all kinds.  Relationship dynamics change and evolve, and what was once an established hierarchy of power might be disturbed during this Full Moon phase as the Universe is pushing us to expand and grow and develop into something else.  Our tendency to keep things status quo in our relationships can work to our detriment when the dominant power is oppressive, causing resentment and suppressed anger in the subordinate power.  This is debilitating for our creativity.  It can choke off our self-expression and prevent the natural flow of our magnificence.  The Full Moon in Libra is going to highlight these relationship dynamics and give us the opportunity to confront and heal what is not working in them.

Giving Voice to the Higher Self:  When I'm working with my clients in session and they have a relationship problem, there's a tendency for them to point their fingers at an ‘adversary’ and tell me what's wrong with that person.  When I remind my client that everything they are experiencing is a reflection of some aspect of themselves, they go immediately into a keen listening mode.  Their ears perk up as they remember that they are the center of their Universe and that everything around them is stemming from their own consciousness.  It's a helluvalot easier to control ourselves then it is other people.

Whenever there is an issue with a relationship, I always ask my client to do some exploratory work around their own relationship with their Higher Self.  Very often, it is easy to find the point of projection in the conflict they are having in the outside world when they consider their relationship with their very own magnificence.  I had one client say, "My boss treats me like crap.  They ignore me when I give suggestions.  And they don't act like my contributions matter. It makes me feel so insignificant and small."  When we considered her relationship with her Higher Self, we found that her Higher Self was making suggestions and contributions, and that she was having a tendency to minimize them, choosing instead to side with her ego's critical point of view.  For example, she had an impulse to wear a yellow dress to an evening party but her ego said she should play by the rules and wear the standard little black dress.  She got to the party and found attention drawn to several radiant women who had broken the little black dress model and who looked vibrant and alive in hues of blue, pink and red.  She found herself feeling embittered and distracted over the course of the evening.  Her Higher Self offered her a chance to shine and express her Authentic Self but she quashed it to play it safe.  She found herself feeling insignificant and small in her little black dress.  Aha!

Over the course of that session, we realized that insignificance and smallness were reflected to her at work every single day.  After shedding light on this, she started building a new relationship with her Higher Self by listening to her physical sensations and acknowledging her emotions.  She found that she had all sorts of exciting ideas that would add value and significance to her days.  She began appreciating herSelf for what began as small things in her life, but over the course of a few weeks, she started identifying more and more with her Higher Self and she started finding more and more value in EVERYTHING around her-- even the big scary things like the attention her radiant smile draws, her ability to think deeply, her great compassion and empathy, and the heart she puts into her job.  She started valuing herself at a deep level.

Interestingly, within a month of starting this relationship with her Higher Self, her boss left the firm and she got a new boss who adores her and even includes her to meetings beyond her official rank.

I would like to suggest that during this Full Moon you take inventory of the things that are not working well from your perspective and you see how these things are reflecting something about your own beliefs about yourself.  See if you can find what they are mirroring and see how you can heal the disconnection in yourself.  Then just sit back and observe how the world unfolds over the next few weeks.  I find that things happen pretty quickly when you work directly with your energy field.  It only takes me two days to see real evidence of my internal healing work manifested in the material world.  But then I work on this stuff all the time.  It's my job and I'm knee-deep in it.  My clients have an acceleration because they have an expert coach-- yours truly!  YES!  Working with a professional is a surefire way to accelerate your growth.  I love self-help, but I ADORE self-help with an expert hand to guide me.  I created Emotional Wellness Happy Hour for you to be able to get help around the New and Full Moons.  It's a wonderful group coaching and healing circle where you bring an issue you want resolved and get my help to find powerful soul-utions and healing.  I think you’ll love it.

Allowing Your Audacity:  The word audacity has two different meanings-- rude, disrespectful or impudent behavior… or it means taking big, bold risks.  What I find is that the first meaning is in the eye of the beholder.  I remember auditioning for a community college play back in Los Angeles.  There were two categories of students-- professional film and theater people and those of us who just wanted to try our hand at acting.  There was a dance number for the audition where a large group of us occupied the stage at one time and we had to move through this choreography.   I had just met a young woman and we were chatty together.  She and I and a group of other women were talking and laughing and when we were all called onstage, we were still huddled together at the back of the stage.  When the music began, however, my new friend disappeared from her position at the back and moved straight to front and center stage.  As we all moved, I watched her execute the moves with grace and a theatrical flair.  She was not one of us at the back of the stage!  She was a professional.  She had done this before.  When the number ended, we all went backstage and I overheard a bunch of women angrily complaining about my new friend's audacious behavior.  They said, "Can you believe her?  She just jumped in front of everybody.  She had the audacity to put herself front and center stage!"

The thing is, while I viewed her move from back of the stage to front of the stage as pure risk taking, bold and (Badass) audacity, I didn't find it rude at all.  She was talented and a leader and she needed to be up front because she knew what she was doing and she had IT.  She didn’t go forward because she was judging us less experienced people.  She went up front because she was a vibrational match to that when she was performing.  She, of course, was awarded the lead role.  Can you guess her sign?  LIBRA!

My point is this-- you being big has nothing to do with kindness, compassion, love, or care.  Your magnificence is yours and it is meant to be expressed, not suppressed.  And it is certainly not meant to be hidden so that others can shine.  You need to be Badass and audacious so that you can be a light that guides others.

Do you have the audacity to take a risk on your own magnificence?  The Full Moon in Libra accompanies the Sun in Aries.  This is a great opportunity for you dig deep into your Shadow uncover your shine. Use the energy of the Full Moon to excavate your Shadows so you can discover the diamond at your center.
